	ever being juvenile or\ncruel. Indeed\, the Minneapolis power trio flex th
	eir jester’s privilege on their\nnew album Split With Turnstile with a ton
	gue that has bored entirely through\ncheek\, and spits just a little bit o
	f blood at you.\nMore than anything\, Citric Dummies represent a natural p
	rogression from bands\nlike Reagan Youth with snappy\, fast\, and extremel
	y tight drum parts that work\nthe hell out of the closed hi-hat and fall a
	round the speeds of bands like\nGeneracion Suicida\, Dark Thoughts\, or ev
	en The Ergs! Riff-wise\, the band has a\nlot more in common with Barely Le
	gal-era the Hives\, Dwarves\, and bits of early\nArctic Monkeys\, while vo
	calist/bassist “David Lunch” shouts\, bellows\, and wails\nthroughout Spli
	t With Turnstile\; a plain departure from what was described as\n“pretty m
	uch doing a Danzig impersonation\,” on their 2023 release Zen and the\nArc
	ade of Beating Your Ass. Citric Dummies\, however\, exude a love of absurd
