w [https://vvk.link/4ggz8cw]\n\n—\n\n“Teenage Prose” by GHOSTS AND ERRORS
is an intense\, inward-looking record whose\nfragile indie folk sound worl
d oscillates between Americana influences\,\nattention to detail\, and emo
tional weight. It is rarely light-footed without\ntipping into mere melanc
holy. Rather\, what unfolds here is an idiosyncratic\ncosmos that has grow
n over years from an originally reduced\, acoustic idea by\nFlorian Steppe
r into an open band project involving a total of 16 musicians.\n\nFragile
anti-folk meets urgent\, almost manic post-punk before the songs open up\n
again into expansive pop or chamber music moments. Instruments such as sin
ging\nsaw\, Spanish lute\, clarinet\, cello\, or vibraphone do not appear
as effects\, but\nas organic components of a larger narrative context. The
record thrives on its\nruptures and shifts in perspective.\n\nLive\, GHOS
TS AND ERRORS form a fixed band with Florian Stepper\, Bianca Steffen\,\nK
evin Kuhn\, Felix Nagel (also co-producer of the album)\, and Marco “Mini”
	\nMühlhans. The pieces are reinterpreted there—more direct\, rawer\, and w
ith open\nspace for improvisation. What makes “Teenage Prose” particularly
distinctive is\nits resistance to quick effects. The songs deliberately e
vade clear readability\nand gain depth with each repetition. An album that
does not aim for a first\nimpression\, but slowly inscribes itself into p
	erception. [Text by Nadine Schmidt\n(VISIONS\, Ox\, krachfink.de [http://k
rachfink.de])]\n\n—\n\nCRYSTAL GLASS is the musical project of Marvin Andr
ä\, who has been creating his\nown dreamy soundscape with his unique blend
of indie pop\, psychedelic rock and\nnew wave since 2021. With his sound\
, he succeeds in creating an atmosphere that\nis both introspective and da
	nceable.
