ealing with burnout and the stress of the world\, I decided I needed\nto l
og off for a bit. So to compose Allostasis\, I spent a year working withou
	t a\ncomputer in the studio. Instead\, I used modular synths and hardware\
	, recording\nonto an old Tascam 238 cassette recorder.\n\nAfter a year of
recording\, I selected the strongest material and spent four\nmonths liste
	ning\, organizing\, and reworking the sounds.\n\nThe first three tracks\,
which make up side A\, are collages of different parts\,\nmelodies\, textu
res\, and loops from my big pile of cassette recordings. Side B\npresents
two unaltered live recordings straight from tape.
