Music producer, dj, guitarist, and live performer based Wrocław Poland. Associated with the German Traumuart and Kosmonautentanz labels and the Turkish Eastern Disco Records.
His music is a confluence of seemingly disparate worlds – from techno, minimal, and deep/techhouse to avant-garde, eclectic sounds. Nova consciously rejects conventions, creating sets and live acts full of surprises and unexpected connections. He has performed at venues such as Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Puschkin in Dresden, Luzztro in Warsaw, Schron in Poznań, and Transformator in Wrocław, as well as numerous other clubs in Poland and Europe. His productions can be found on numerous labels – from Germany, Poland, Turkey, and Brazil. They have also been featured on international compilations such as Club Rotation Norway and Miami Summer Vibes. Mathias Nova Live is a musical journey that always defies conventional frameworks. Mathias Nova is a former member and participant in several editions of the Warsaw Electronic Festival, and he is one of the founders of the Wrocław's based collective [punkt]kolektiv / [p] rec. and a representant of the last generation growing up on "analog era”.
His unique handmade style brings minimalistic techno structures and techhouse dynamics, "songs" lined with deephouse delicacy, sprinkled with ambient dub techno space.
