VABILO NA BRALNI KROŽEK POLITIČNE ŠOLE BORKE VIDE
VSAKO SREDO ob 17:00 v A-Infoshop (AKC Metelkova mesto)
V obravnavanih tekstih Errico Malatesta z izjemno jasnostjo in ostrino pokaže, da anarhizem ni odsotnost organizacije, temveč odločno nasprotovanje vsaki obliki hierarhične oblasti.
Nove bralke in bralci dobrodošli kadarkoli.

INVITATION TO THE BOOK CLUB OF THE POLITICAL SCHOOL OF FIGHTER VIDA
EVERY WEDNESDAY // 5:00 PM at A-Infoshop (AKC Metelkova mesto)
Starting June 10, we’re kicking off a new cycle of the reading circle, where we’re returning to basics—reading key texts from the anarchist revolutionary tradition. For a couple of weeks, we’ll be diving into shorter agitprop and theoretical texts by the legendary Italian anarchist Errico Malatesta. We will begin with one of his most incisive texts—Anarchism and Authority—and continue with Anarchism and Organization. If time permits, we will conclude by reading his Anarcho-Communist Program, which the Federazione Anarchica Italiana (FAI) still uses today as the foundation of its political line.
In the texts under discussion, Errico Malatesta demonstrates with exceptional clarity and sharpness that anarchism is not the absence of organization, but rather a resolute opposition to every form of hierarchical authority. Without sugarcoating it, he analyzes how power reproduces itself, why it must be rejected in its entirety, and how we can build strong, effective, and at the same time non-authoritarian forms of organization that will not themselves become a new form of government. The text is a classic, yet at the same time exceptionally relevant—it helps us understand the mechanisms of domination in today’s world and provides clear tools for revolutionary practice that avoids repeating old patterns.
Errico Malatesta was an Italian revolutionary, agitator, and one of the most important thinkers of the anarchist movement, who spent most of his life in exile, in prison, or on the barricades. He was a member of the First International and numerous other workers’ and anarchist organizations. Malatesta translates complex ideas into direct, accessible language, offering practical tools for resistance against authoritarianism rather than dogma.
The text is available at: Errico Malatesta: Anarchy
No prior knowledge or reading at home is required to participate in the reading circle. We read together aloud and pause whenever something is unclear. We select texts that are understandable to everyone. New readers are welcome at any time. Printed copies of the texts are available at the circle.
The reading circles are part of the Political School of fighter Vida, an educational project of the Antiauthoritarian Platform. Its aim is to strengthen the organizational processes of anti-systemic forces and to provide tools for the collective research of history and revolutionary ideas.
The Antiauthoritarian Platform is an autonomous political organization that builds alternatives to the dominant social order in theory and practice. We advocate for radical and broad social change toward freedom, equality, and solidarity, and for the abolition of capitalism and patriarchy.
