The first part of the event will be an ambient improvised piece based around an Eltamusic Solar 42n with some help from a Soma Enner and Glo (a polyphonic whale!). Expect dark ambient with some glitchy/experimental sounds on top.
The second part will use a modular system. I have no idea where this will end up but it will surely be some unknown place. The set will use some experimental spectral reverbs and delays to shape the sounds so chaos may ensue.
Should time allow some other experimental sounds may creep in and I will, at the end, answer any questions you have.

Hi, I’m Samantha Jane Smith, I use hardware synthesizers and magnetic tape to produce electronic, experimental and ambient music. I always record my music live without the use of a computer and with no overdubs and only light mastering to give you a spontaneous musical experience.
Much of it is improvised during recording so once played and recorded it is never repeated. The music you hear is full of mistakes, glitches, noise and other “errors” - it’s a reflection of life, living the life in the moment, never perfect but full of freedom to explore and make mistakes. Do not expect music manipulated until the soul is driven out of it. It’s all about living in the present.
